One of two Bath Bostons, the Alfred Street Cafe is large and spacious, with lots of tables and space for groups and families, a great complement to the smaller Kingsmead Square cafe.

Having undergone a complete refurb, the previously unused Grade II building is opposite the Assembly Rooms, and on the corner of Bartlett Street within striking distance of the city centre.

They have a first come, first served service style and don’t offer bookings, but they have plenty of seats in the cafe. It’s a breastfeeding friendly cafe, and dogs are welcome too.
