Where are you based and what do you do?

I live on Bailbrook Lane with my wife Anna and our 7 year old twins, Lilly and Lucas. I’m a designer/illustrator.

What inspired you to start your business?

Leaving all the office politics and shenanigans behind and looking forward to make what I do count.

What do you love about running a business in Bath?

There’s always been a flair and prosperity about the place. It has a great community feel and artistic spirit. I work from a studio at the bottom of my garden but can get to the city centre in 20 mins! That’s what I call an ideal commute.

You’ve got five minutes to grab a sandwich, where do you go?

GATHER in Batheaston / The Green Bird Cafe / The Forum Coffee House

Where’s your favourite place to book for a business lunch?

GATHER in Batheaston

Which bar do you head to after a tough day?

The Raven for a delicious pie and pint!

Tell us about another Bath business you love and why?

Jamie Ellul and the guys at Supple Studio on George Street. They do great design work!

What advice would you give to someone starting a business in the city?

Rely on your instincts. I knew this was the place I wanted to work and live when I first visited.
