FAQs

What is the aim of the Kids of Bath website?

Our vision was to create an easy-to-use community website where families can keep up with everything going on in Bath (and surrounding areas) and to support the wealth of amazing independent businesses in our city. Together with the oh-so-clever Created in Bath web designers, we hope we’ve made that vision into a little slice of reality! We’ve also partnered with 5 local charities with the aim of supporting them and the wider community.

Which charities do you support?

Kids of Bath is proud to have raised money for five Bath based charities so far –  Wicked Weather Watch, Bath Rugby Foundation, Off the Record, Bath Foodbank and Bath Area Play Project.

Who are we?

We’re Sophie & Libby, fab friends and co-founders of Kids of Bath. We met when our children started school in the same class and have been keeping each other’s spirits up with coffee and chat ever since. We first started musing about launching a new website for the families of our beautiful city back in 2015 and are over the moon to welcome you to it today!

Libby’s been a digital marketing specialist for over 12 years. Six of those were spent working with big international brands at Microsoft in the big smoke. Since moving to beautiful Bath in 2012 she’s supported lots of independent businesses in the region and now co-owns the successful marketing agency, This is PPC. Her husband is a freelance journalist and writer, they have three children: an animal-obsessed daughter and twin boys/two man wrecking crew.

Sophie is the founder of Bath Holistic Massage, which specialises in pregnancy and postnatal massage. She’s passionate about promoting small indie businesses and loves a bit of networking. Sophie grew up in Bath and lives here with her partner, Mark, Grandpa (95!) and three children: her 6ft swimming gold medallist step-daughter, football crazy son and a little girl who should have her own stand-up comedy show.
