Pottery In the Park
Wed April 17
On every dry, sunny enough day this Easter break, I’m going to be popping up in Henrietta Park to give you and your little ones a chance to play with some clay.
We’ll focus on making features from around the park, like leaves, trees, flowers and even squirrels for the more adventurous little artist. I won’t be providing any tools, only clay, modeling boards, buckets of water and techniques to teach messy hands.
I’ll actively encourage the kids to forage within the park to find materials to create texture, and twigs to use as tools and supports.
All ages are welcome, the clay is air drying and completely non-toxic. I have colored the clay my self using food colorants so again, completely non-toxic.
As the clay is air-dry, you are more than welcome to take your child’s creation home, as long as its kept dry, it will last a life time!
You don’t need to book, just stroll on up and get involved. Before making the trip to the park though, be sure to check our socials to make sure we’re there as it is completely weather dependent.
It’s £10 per child, they’ll be given a 500g ball of clay to create anything they like from, there will be different colored buckets of clay to decorate. You’re welcome to stay as long as you like, creation should never be rushed so how long you stay is completely up to you!
Adults are welcome to help their little one create for free; if you wanted to make your own pot its £5 for an adult for the extra materials.
I can accept both cash and card on site 🙂
