Jesmonite Workshop with Stephanie Tudor
Sat September 28 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm BST£60.00
Learn to make Jesmonite tiles that incorporate reclaimed materials.
Jesmonite is a versatile material and is used in several ways. It can be used as a surface material in building and construction but used commonly now to create beautiful vessels and coasters combined with natural and/or special materials that add colour and textture. It is considered an attractive alternative to other resin-based materials, such as polyester and fiberglass.
Discover the basics of the casting and moulding processes, integrate reclaimed and natural elements, and finally sand the tiles back to expose the textures within.
Attendees come away with four tiles or coasters with unique surface designs. Refreshments are included.
