Our goal is to ensure every customer falls in love with the pub and leaves delighted. To achieve this, we focus on delivering three things: great food, great service and a beautiful looking pub.

The Hare & Hounds is a gastropub located high on Lansdown with spectacular views over the Charlcombe Valley. The Hare & Hounds chooses fresh, seasonal produce for its menu whilst listening to customer feedback to ensure we are giving locals and tourists the food they really want to eat when visiting a great pub.
We’ve built a business that all types of customers from all walks of life can enjoy and feel at home in; builders stopping off for their breakfasts, business people holding meetings, families, mums enjoying coffee after the school drop off – everyone feels welcome here and finds something that appeals to them. From our most popular breakfast of eggs benedict – smoked ham on toasted muffin with perfectly runny egg & creamy hollandaise to a lunchtime favourite of pork schnitzel with lemon caper butter and skinny fries we try to cater to all needs, this is why we serve food all day.
