Hi I’m Claire, and I run Fitz & Physio. I’m a Pelvic Health physiotherapist which means I work with the pelvis and the pelvic floor. I run ‘Mum and Bub’ pilates classes which is a strength and conditioning class for new mums. A safe, post natal, baby friendly, exercise class that will strengthen your core and pelvic floor muscles, and will help prepare you to return higher level activities such as running.

The centre has recently undergone a major £1m refurbishment of the Gym in Bath which now holds a 120-station Gym, 25m six lane Swimming Pool, separate teaching pool, fun Leisure Pool with flume and play features, a highly successful Better Swim School, take part in lots of team sports in our 4 court sports hall and an extensive Fitness Class programme which includes 50 weekly live fitness classes such as Zumba, Pilates & Extreme Air but if you can not make our programmed classes try out our Virtual Studio which includes access to over 800 classes which can be accessed at a time which suits you with our handy on-demand feature New to the centre is Bath’s first 8 lane bowling alley, 5 storey soft play facilities and Extreme Trampoline Park. There is something for everyone at Better Bath Sports & Leisure Centre.

Modern Pilates is based on the original works of German-born Joseph Pilates who designed a series of exercises that used both mental and physical techniques to condition the body, in recent years these methods have been introduced into the health and fitness industry. My training brings the best of Joseph’s techniques into the 21st Century by combining his principles with all the recent research and knowledge we have about fitness, exercise, and core stability.
