Humbugs Choir
Humbugs is a choir for mums who love to sing!

We believe that mums are allowed to do something for themselves sometimes! But finding the time is tricky. Most mums spend most of their day singing songs for their kids, and very little time singing for their own enjoyment. So, here at Humbugs we have the perfect solution – a choir for mums, with music for mums AND you can bring your little one along too!

Making Music with Monty – specialist music classes for children aged 4-7
Learn music through storytelling
Unique, fun and creative music classes
Run by composer & children’s author

Making Music with Monty is the perfect way to introduce your children to music. Captivating and fun, these specialist classes teach children all the musical skills they need before they start to learn a musical instrument.

Monty and the magic of storytelling instantly engages children so they enjoy learning music from the beginning. Each week acclaimed composer and children’s author, Gabrielle Amelia Ridgeon, takes the children on a music making adventure, learning everything they need to know.

Classes focus on musical creativity. Children are encouraged to interact, experiment and will explore their imaginations to the fullest. Once the children reach the end of their journey with Monty, they will be fully prepared for their next musical chapter of learning an instrument.

Classes are located in the Bradford on Avon & Bath areas on weekdays after school.

Music for Miniatures
Live classical concerts for babies, toddlers and young children! Amazing music in a relaxed atmosphere.

Music for Miniatures is a series of short live classical concerts specifically designed for parents, grandparents and carers to enjoy in the company of babies, toddlers and young children (aged 0-4).

The best thing about a Music for Miniatures concert is… we don’t mind noise! Babies can sleep, cry, babble and crawl whilst toddlers are free to explore and enjoy in their own way without being told to “ssh”. Older little ones can dance, play air-instruments and get right up close to the performers. We don’t even mind if the audience needs a nap!

Classical music has been proven to be calming for children of all ages, and hearing it live is even better. At a Music for Miniatures concert you can experience the magic of live music with your little one and let the beautiful music relax you both.

At Stagecoach we teach our students so much more than how to sing, dance and act. We help them blossom into well-rounded individuals, ready to embrace life and all its opportunities.
With 30 years’ experience in teaching the performing arts, we understand how to get the best out of our young performers. We delight in seeing our students have fun, make friends, learn new skills and discover hidden talents.
We encourage them to take ‘safe risks’ through rehearsals and performance, which brings out a willingness to take on new challenges. None of us know what the future holds, which is why it’s so important for today’s children to be resilient, brave and self-assured.
Furthermore you can rest assured that your child is in safe hands as we adhere to the strictest child safety policies.

Suzuki Early Childhood Music
A couple of spaces are now available for children aged 0 to 3 years to join our music class in Marshfield on Mondays 9:30 to 10:30am.

We are experienced Suzuki music teachers and our classes aim to develop both musical and life skills in a natural, supportive and enjoyable way. We love what we do. We see babies watching older ones and learning from their very early days. Those very tiny ones absolutely love their music and the interaction between the children and adults is very special. As they get a little older these young children are learning to listen, observe and support each other with a great repertoire of songs, actions and instruments.

Supporting adults need no previous experience to enjoy these classes, just a love of children and a willingness to join in. The cost of each class is £8 paid termly.

At The Singing Tree children step into a stimulating environment full of story characters and exciting props in which they become active participants. Our playful classes inspire a love of music and develop musicianship using the Colourstrings Kindergarten approach to music. Activities are carefully structured and developed in progressive lessons so that children learn – initially in an unconscious way, about aspects of music ie. steady beat, pitch, rhythm, dynamics & harmony. Watch your child grow in confidence as they learn through singing, movement, playing quality instruments, dancing and games. Children develop both an inner ear and their singing voice on their journey towards the skills needed to start to read music and learn an instrument. Attending a class also supports their social and emotional skills, their creativity and confidence.
