My philosophy of care is based on the belief that pregnancy and birth are natural physiological processes, that women have the innate ability to birth their babies, and that birth is almost always a family event rather than a medical one. My aim is to support people so they emerge from the childbirth continuum feeling joyful, strong and empowered and babies are met in the most gentle way possible, whatever the setting.

“New Life Classes in Bristol were recommended to us by a number of different people including friends, neighbours and midwives and boy did they not fail us. These classes are 5 star across the board…we literally cannot fault them!!! Right from the start we were put at ease and the depth of information was second to none. Midwife led, Kate our course leader, delivered the course content with a personal, humorous and informative manner meaning there was never a moment which left us feeling stressed, worried or embarrassed about any questions asked. The fact we were able to reference some of the content, mid labour with plenty of gas and air onboard, goes to show the impressionable mark the course left us with; particularly at a time when we could have and should have easily panicked. Yet, we were actually reassured the decision we were having to make, was one we fully understood, and that we were absolutely making the right decision for us and the baby at that quick thinking moment of time. We wholeheartedly recommend this course to any soon to be parents out there!!” Nikita Bennett (Google Review)
