My philosophy of care is based on the belief that pregnancy and birth are natural physiological processes, that women have the innate ability to birth their babies, and that birth is almost always a family event rather than a medical one. My aim is to support people so they emerge from the childbirth continuum feeling joyful, strong and empowered and babies are met in the most gentle way possible, whatever the setting.
Hello , My name is Grace and I am a Birth and Postnatal Doula working in lovely Bath. I work to support women and their families in the lead up to a new arrival and work as a postnatal doula , where I support mama, in whatever way she may need during the postnatal period. My ethos is woman and family centred, working closely with clients to support and empower them through the childbirth experience. I trained with Birth Bliss academy and I am currently a mentored Doula.
Please do get in touch for a chat if you have any questions or are interested in hiring me as doula , via phone or email.
Hello, I am Michelle and my doula philosophy is to be the calm in the room and to hold a safe space for women so they can explore the intricacies of their mothering journey.
I offer one to one continual emotional and practical support, encouragement and reassurance and non-biased, evidence based information around pregnancy, birth and the postnatal period.
Support is flexible to suit you and your family’s needs but maybe include: talking through birth preferences, light touch massage, cooking hot meals, light housework, a good listening ear, lending of books, holding baby whilst you sleep or shower, company on first outings, and more…
Please drop me an email or call if you would like to have a chat, talk through any queries, or set up a meeting at this exciting time, I’d love to hear from you.

As a Norland trained nanny (gold standard in childcare training), with 15 years working in childcare, I has seen that modern day parenting is stressful and lonely at times.
There is a lot of information out there, but a lot is contradictory and thus parents can feel confused and anxious with what feels right for their family dynamics.
I am passionate about looking after the whole family, and I know that within each family there are many different variables such as; temperaments, family size, backgrounds, beliefs and life stories. As such I believe that each family dynamic is unique, and thus a one-size fits all approach does not work.
I always listen to the parents and honour their individual parenting views, and give guidance that will support them in a non-judgmental approach.
I truly believe it takes a village to raise a child. I hope Online Nanny can be part of this village. If your in need of clear, practical, confidential, emotional support/advice then have a look at my website, send me a email or give me a ring.
I look forward to chatting with you.
