I offer an 8 week education programme covering breathing techniques, meditations, information on how the body reacts to stress and how we can recognise our stress triggers, coping strategies for handling stress better, the science behind how we train the brain, unhelpful thinking patterns, how to respond rather than react and lots more! All mindfulness based.
I discovered mindfulness as a tool to help me overcome postpartum anxiety after my first child. My experience has been life changing and now I enjoy teaching others the techniques I have learnt to help people feel more resilient, calm and positive in the face of life's chaos.

We are run entirely by volunteers and we welcome anyone who wants to help out - including supporting teenagers doing Duke of Edinburgh placements with us - just email in to volunteer.

Recreation for all in the heart of Bath
BathRec has been used by the people of Bath, the surrounding area and visitors alike for over a hundred years. A wide range of sport has been played on the grounds including croquet, tennis, football, cricket, lacrosse, volleyball and rugby - it has been the home of Bath Rugby since 1865.
In addition to sport BathRec has been the venue for numerous events including music and arts as well as the Bath Rotary Fireworks which celebrated their 40th year in 2015. BathRec is the base for the Bath Half Marathon, a major fund raising event in the heart of the city, and a number of other community events.
BathRec is available for hire for a range of sports and activities and the Trustees have prepared a Strategic Development Plan to further enhance the opportunities for all - if you or your organisation would like to explore the potential we would love to hear from you.
BathRec is owned and operated by the Bath Recreation Limited. The Charitable Company's objects are:
The provision, with or without charge, of property in or near Bath (including but not limited to Bath Recreation Ground) for use as indoor and outdoor recreational facilities for the benefit of the public.
We believe every child and every young person in Bath and North East Somerset deserves an equal opportunity and the same chance to succeed.
Our ambition is to change the lives of vulnerable children and young people who have not been given that equal chance of success.
We are a small team with a big voice and an even bigger impact. Our programmes focus on key areas of need in our community - Education, Inclusion and Employability.
We target young people in their every day environments - whether that's in the park, at school or in the street.
Our participants leave with raised confidence, and new life skills, part of the Bath Rugby family.

Bath School of Dance offers classes in classical ballet, contemporary dance and more. From those who want to dance purely for the enjoyment through to those with specific dance ambitions for the future, we provide a nurturing and inspiring environment for girls and boys of all levels and ages.
Our teachers are fully qualified and bring a wealth of experience, working together to encourage our students to take their Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) examinations and participate in our end-of-year show, giving them the opportunity to gain experience of performing and to develop their confidence.
At Bath School of Dance we encourage a holistic approach to dance and our timetable of non-syllabus classes is carefully designed to complement and enhance RAD ballet training. We also recognise the importance of dance to our students' physical and mental wellbeing and to their growth as individuals.

We are a fun and friendly drop-in group for babies, toddlers, and their parents, grandparents and carers, offering indoor play, crafts, outdoor activities (if the weather permits) and singing at the end of each session.
The entrance fee is £2 per family, which includes fruit juice, breadsticks and fresh fruit for the children, and coffee and tea all morning for the adults. We have wheelchair access, baby changing facilities and free parking in the Church car park.
We organise family events throughout the year and fund raise for children’s charities close to our hearts. Our summer party takes the form of a garden fete with a bouncy

Sessions are set up and run on a rota basis by volunteers, parents and carers, guided by an informal committee. We are always thankful for anyone who is able to offer his or her time to help.
