Spotty Herberts
5 Queen Street, Bath
, ,
An Independent shop for children age 0 - 10 years in the centre of Bath.

Find Spotty Herberts the Independent award-winning shop for children right in the centre of town on one of Bath's oldest cobbled streets.
We sell clothing from 0 to 10 years that children can grow up in, grow out of and hand on and on, unisex clothes chosen for their thoughtful design, singularity and ethical production.
Clothing production is the second largest polluter in the world using more water than any other, apart from agriculture, and is responsible for the unfair working conditions of millions of people.
Spotty Herberts carefully select brands who have the vision to make clothes that children will love to wear without compromising the social and environmental aspects of production.
Alongside our clothes and down low for small hands to rummage we also stock an ever-changing collection of small pocket toys and special treats. Shop independently, shop locally! Discover Spotty Herberts, a shop for children full of fun, silliness and wildness. Now that's a real 'Spotty Herbert'.

Broad St, Bath
Building Community, Blessing a City
A place where people matter, life is given value and we learn to live generously

First and foremost St Michael’s is a church made up of ordinary people trying their best to follow Jesus. We aspire to be a serving, loving, engaging, inspiring, hospitable, honest, praying and worshipping group of people. We don’t agree about everything, and we don’t always get it right, but we still seek to encourage each other to follow the Jesus who unites us and who is transforming our lives. We believe that transformed lives can transform the world.

Suzuki Early Childhood Music
A couple of spaces are now available for children aged 0 to 3 years to join our music class in Marshfield on Mondays 9:30 to 10:30am.

We are experienced Suzuki music teachers and our classes aim to develop both musical and life skills in a natural, supportive and enjoyable way. We love what we do. We see babies watching older ones and learning from their very early days. Those very tiny ones absolutely love their music and the interaction between the children and adults is very special. As they get a little older these young children are learning to listen, observe and support each other with a great repertoire of songs, actions and instruments.

Supporting adults need no previous experience to enjoy these classes, just a love of children and a willingness to join in. The cost of each class is £8 paid termly.

5 Great things about after school club:
1. Our adventure play garden is a ‘a haven of adventure, discovery and fun’ as described in our ‘Outstanding’ Ofsted report.
2. The range of specialist activities children can do is wide and unique: woodwork, batik, felting, blacksmithing, sign making using brands at even a hot bath in the open air.
3. We provide all food, and lots of it. From healthy veg sticks and hummus with tea, to fresh fruit smoothies or popcorn cooked on the fire.
4. You can read a description of each session your child attends, describing what we’ve been getting up to that afternoon
5. We are Ofsted registered Outstanding and you can pay with childcare vouchers.

Our after school club bubbles with excitement, the site affords tremendous play opportunities: pottery, a crazy cafe, dressing up, wood workshop, forge, zip wires, climbing nets and even a hot bath! Built up since 2012, our garden offers something for all, with enough space to join in with big group play or find a quiet spot to chill. Children are supported in freely choosing their play and additional activities are offered to develop special interests. Activities range from arty and makey, to physical and adventurous, from relaxing and calming to challenging and high energy. We offer some activities on an ongoing basis and bring in new ones to keep it fresh.
Our staff team consists of experienced playworkers, crafts people, teachers and childcare practitioners. We are Ofsted registered EY441693 and received 'Outstanding' in our August 15 inspection.
Running Monday - Thursday, with a school pick up from many of the Bath primary schools, ranging from St Stephens, St Saviours, Bathford, Bathampton, Churchfields and of course Swainswick.
