Is EVERYTHING really free?!
Yes, everything Kids of Bath has co-ordinated really is free! Kids of Bath have asked a whole heap of wonderful businesses to come down to the Rec and they are all donating their time and skills for free at absolutely no cost to you!
This means that all the workshops in the star tent, crafts in the Buffalo Tipi tent, children’s tipi tent by Cotton & Canvas and the ‘Fix Up, Look Sharp’ tent featuring facepainters, glitterfiers and the Henna Lady are all FREE… not to mention the vast array of performances, particpatory classes and sporty challenges on the day who are all contributing to make this amazing event happen.
The only things that will require money on site are the food stalls, and there will be some charity stalls invited by the Bath Rec Trust themselves which may charge.
What time shall we come down to Bath Rec on Bath Carnival Day?
Everything kicks off at 11am, this means performances, workshops, ‘Jump Up, Join In’ classes all from the get go!! Check out the FULL timetable here.
Can we bring a picnic on the day?
Yes! We are actively encouraging families to come down for the whole day 11-3 and bring a picnic and get involved! From here you can watch the procession assemble and sit back, relax and be entertained by all the wonderful things going on!
Can we be a part of the procession itself?
Yes, we’d love you to join in with the Kids of Bath section of the procession as we walk alongside Chuffy the Land train through town! Check out how to here!
Can we watch the procession from here?
The Bath Rec is where the full procession assembles and lines up to march through the streets of Bath. If you have little ones then the rec is a great vantage point to soak up all the carnival atmosphere and see all the costumes and performers LIVE!
